Submissions & Reports

The ITI regularly makes formal submissions at national and EU levels.

Through our membership of TALC, our regional branch network, our weekly meetings with Revenue, and specific research and submission work, we ensure that the ideas of, and the issues faced by, Registered Tax Consultants are known to Revenue.

This work is complemented by our ongoing engagement with Government ministers and senior officials, particularly in the Department of Finance and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. In addition to meetings, we regularly make submissions on behalf of our members to Government, most notably on the Budget and the Finance Bill. This work is overseen by our various committees.

Our national submissions are supported and enhanced by our formal work at EU level. Through our own submissions, and our contributions through our EU representative body CFE, we regularly submit the views of Registered Tax Consultant in Ireland to the relevant EU authorities.
