How is the course structured?

There are a range of flexible study options available with winter and summer courses and two examination sittings each year. It is possible for our students to accelerate their studies as a result.

Courses take place at weekends only. This part-time weekend format is popular with students as they can plan their studies around personal and professional commitments

  • Winter and summer courses are available and allow students to accelerate their studies
  • Courses run in venues in Dublin, Cork, Athlone and Limerick (subject to demand)
  • Expert lecturing teams deliver core lectures, supplemented by online and guest lectures on specific topics
  • Quality course materials are written by experts in their fields and are designed for efficient and effective learning
  • Professional skills workshops take place in small tutorial groups where students are taught to research, analyse and solve complex tax problems which mirror real life situations
  • Assessment combines both continuous assessment and final examinations including home assignments
  • All course materials provided as part of the course fee
  • Competitive fees and flexible payment options available
  • No training contract is required to qualify as an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser

Applicants from relevant disciplines also benefit from exemptions.

A student who is exempt from Part 1 would typically obtain the AITI qualification within two years.
